eaders of the Daily Mirror have been busy venting their spleen over the activities of French farmers ambushing British trucks.
Letters published last week described the French actions as "outrageous" and accused "our pussyfooting Prime Minister John Major" of letting the French off scot-free. The French foreign minister should be given a "roasting" insisted reader F Barker.
Another reader suggested a boycott of French wines for "at least a year" while wisely suggesting a range of alternatives, "so we won't be deprived in any way". It's good to see this reader has not forgotten his priorities.
