Awards shortlist unveiled
INDESIT COMPANY and TNT Express UK head the list of firms shortlisted for the MT Awards 2009. TNT is up for the Environment Award, Safety Award and International Operator of the Year, while its national engineering manager, Steve Davis, has been shortlisted for Fleet Engineer of the Year.
lndesit is up for the Best Use of Technology, the Innovation Award, Training Award and Urban Delivery Operation of the Year. Ceva Logistics is shortlisted in three categories: Innovation Award (with B&Q), Safety Award and Fleet Engineer of the Year (for Stuart Wardlaw). Also up for three is Palletline: Safety Award, Best Use of
Technology and Livery of the Year. United Biscuits Logistics has got three: Environment Award, Low Carbon & Efficiency Award, and Partnership (with Nestle Group Logistics), Haulier of the Year is between Nightfreight, Steads Haulage, Tradeteam UK and Turners (Soham).
