range of truck tyres which are claimed to offer longer life and better fuel economy than tyres from other leading manufacturers.
The new range is divided into four categories: long haul (Marathon), regional haul (Regional), mixed on/off-road (Omnitrack), and off-road (Offroad).
The Regional range is most likely to be of interest to UK operators. Drive and steer tyres in 11 sizes will be phased in over the next year.
The Marathon steer tyre is a new 385/65R22.5 widesingle which will be available in eight sizes. The trailer tyre is also a wide-single which can replace dualmounted 245/70R1 9.5s.
The new tyres will offer a four life minimum (depending on conditions) achieved by a regroove, a retread and a further regroove.
