SHERWOOD Universal Vehicles is a new company in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire set up to manufacture a multi-bodied vehicle which converts from a pick-up to an estate car or van.
Sherwoods are supplied factory-built converted from new Ford Cortina models from £6,200 while a kit costs £1,285 plus vat.
The kit includes a thick steel chassis, a set of fibreglass body panels, hard top assembly with side windows, wheels, roll-up vinyl sun roof, roof rack and towing bracket.
The chassis is supplemented by a roll-over bar which doubles as a ladder rack when the vehicle is used as a pick-up.
