Brian Smith has become divisional director for Group Tyre Services. He joined the company in Norwich in 1948 and was made depot manager of the Kenning Tyre Services depot in 1951.
In 1955 he transferred to Kenning Tyre Services in Sheffield as sales manager of Fisk Tyres. In 1959 he was made assistant general manager of Kenning Tyre Services and general man ager in 1965, based at the Chesterfield head office.
Terry Ward takes charge of the group van and car hire. He joined the group 19 years ago as office manager of Cavendish Motors. In 1970 he became general manager of the rental division, a post he held until this promotion.
Peter Wain takes responsibility for group marketing services. He was previously group marketing manager.
Peter Dean takes charge of group motor services. He was formerly general manager with overall responsibility for the group's motor activities.
