FOLLOWING complaints from coach operators about the effect of newly repaired roads on their vehicles, Newport (I.W.) Borough Council haVe instructed the borough engineer to cooperate with the Motor Coach Owners' Association on their problems. The operators complained about the cost of cleaning tar from coaches which had passed over inadequately covered roads, and of insufficient room to pass roadwork sites.
