THE response to the proposal. to,form a new, £150,000 co-operative enterprise to succeed the. Meat Transport Organization, Ltd:,. has been good, according to an M.T.O.L. official, who told. The CommerciaP Motor this week that the number of unfavourable replies so far received has been negligible.
Replies are still coming in from many areas, and although there will be nothing, definite to report for at least a week it now. seems certain that the industry favours the scheme.
The M.T:O.L. have given the proposed company a name—United Carriers, Ltd.
