Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOLLOW1NG an appeal by the Midland Gerreral Omnibus Co., Ltd.. the Minister of Transport has revoked the licence granted to Barton Transport. Ltd., permitting them to operate a stage service between Mount Street, Nottingham. and Kirk Hallam. Whilst the Minister took the view that there might well be need to improve the facilities between Kirk Hallam and Nottingham. he was not satisfied that the licence under appeal was the right method of attaining that end.

He has also made an Order requiring the Authority to amend the conditions attached to another licence granted to Barton Transport, Ltd., authorizing them to operate a new express service between Melton Mowbray and Llandudno, after an appeal by the British Transport Commission. The amendment provides that the service be operated on Saturdays only from the first Saturday in July to the second Saturday in September inclusive, and that a maximum of two vehicles be used on any one day.
