Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

100 MPs joined FairFuelUK (FFUK) at Westminster on Monday (4 March) to show their support for a cut in fuel duty ahead of this month's Budget (20 March).

Pallet-Track member PW Gates Distribution provided a visual reminder of hauliers' plight by driving around Westminster in a FFUK-liveried truck (pictured) to generate awareness of the campaign.

It obviously helped, as MPs from across the political spectrum met up with FFUK representatives and its backers, including the Road Haulage Association (RHA), Freight Transport Association (FTA) and the Association of Pallet Networks, at the event.

FFUK founder Peter Carroll said: "It exceeded all of our expectations. It was a positive event with 45 Conservative, 40 Labour MPs and some Liberal Democrat MPs showing their support."

PW Gates MD Peter Gates told CM: "It was money well spent. What we want to do is get the word out [there] to support the campaign."

RHA head of policy Jack Semple said: "It [shows] the momentum that FFUK has built up at Westminster. All of [the MPs] were supportive and are aware of the impact that fuel duty has on their constituents."
