• Les Wilson Haulage of Heanor, Derbyshire is using the first Iveco EuroStar tag axle drawbar outfit in Europe. The conversion, by North East Truck and Van of Cleveland, is based on a EuroStar 400E38 chassis, and intended to combine long-distance general haulage with the flexibility of a drawbar unit for urban work.

The Phoenix Axles 18-tonne bogie, VBG coupling and Fruehauf trailer are specified for operation at up to 94 tonnes, as are Wilson's pusher axleequipped EuroTech tractive units (featured in CM 31 Aug-6 Sept 1995).
