• A 75-bedroom truckstop is due to be opened at Lynn, Cheshire by early 1993. The project will replace the neighbouring Poplar Truckstop at J20 of the M6 and J9 of the M56. It will have capacity for 3,500 drivers a day with fuel pumps, weighing machines, parking, restaurants, an international telephone, a fax, a gym, a swimming pool and live entertainment.
