• The Automobile Association is taking on five new vehicles which, it says, are its most advanced roadside rescue units to date.
One of the vans, based on the Iveco Ford TurboDaily 49.10, was unveiled at the Fleet Show in Birmingham this week. It includes a workshop, with room for the AA patrolman to stand in; a passenger area for five people and a lowslung boom to avoid damage to towed cars.
