This sinister looking piece of machinery is a very heavily disguised MAN (that thing at the front which looks like a Wehrmacht machine gun post is 5 tonnes of lead radiation shielding) which has been adapted to the appallingly high radiation levels at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Used to pump concrete into the core of the burned out plant, the vehicle carries equipment which has a reach of 52 metres and can also be operated by remote control to a range of 800 metres.
What do you do if it breaks down? Pour the concrete over yourself and wait for a thousand years. Not even the RAC will touch it until then.
