• Part of the eastbound carriageway of A2 East Rochester Way between the Bexley/Greenwich boundary and Hanson Road Bexley is to be closed for reconstruction.
Contraflow will be in operation on various sections for the next three months and some slip roads will be closed. Diversions will be signposted.
The DTp suggests that to avoid the inevitable delays drivers may wish to leave the Rochester Way at Welling Way (A209) and take the A20, rejoining the A2 at the Hanson Road interchange (A221).
