• GRP Massey has delivered a special lightweight refrigerated van to Portsmouth-based floopers Fish and Frozen Foods.
To achieve a payload of 3.33 tonnes and maintain a constant —10°C internal body temperature throughout a 10-hour daily round of multi-drop deliveries, the body was built with 105mm insulated panels, 24 lightweight Polarpac eutectic beams and a 2.2kW undermounted condensing set.
The Mercedes-Benz 811D chassis was supplied on contract by Fareham dealer Spartruks through its subsidiary DJS Contracts.
