hire agreement with TIP Trailer Rental for 60 of its 38-tonne Boalloybodied tandem axle trailers. The contract follows a year-long trial of 12 TIP trailers by the ferry line. Special modifications have been made to the curtainsided trailers including extended steel bulkheads and special side clips to cope with sea crossings.
