Leyland trucks again. At the beginning of the month Rowntree Mackintosh added two new Leyland Freighter 16.15s to its 230-strong, predominantly Bedford fleet which handles the distribution of confectionery to retail outlets. It has now placed an order for ten similar units as part of the fleet replacement programme. Leyland was the only company that could supply a vehicle at a suitable chassis height for its loading bay.
