Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I AM not surprised that Mr. A. Bates, a Green Line coach driver, should consider taxi drivers to be excellent (The Commercial Motor, February 21). The bigger the vehicle that one drives, the greater the respect shown one by other road users. If Mr. Bates drove through London at the wheel of a small car, he might revise his opinion. May I add that my respect for Green Line coach drivers, such as Mr. Bates, does not wholly stem from the size of vehicles that they drive. I only wish many taxi drivers were as considerate..
