APLAN to provide private bus facilities for staff at three hospitals near York has been submitted to York " A " and Tadcaster Hospital Management Committee. This follows complaints about services operated by a small company, Majestic Services, Cawood, Yorks, who link the hospitals with York bus termini.
The committee were told at their monthly meeting that transport difficulties had affected the staff position at the hospitals. They agreed to ask Majestic to improve services in an effort to assist recruitment. It was stated that to provide their own bus would cost the committee up to £2,000.
