A general meeting of the Institution of Automobile Engineers will be held on March 8th at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Storey's Gate, St. James's Park, London, S,W.1, at 8 p.m., when Mr. A. A. Remington will read a paper entitled " The Design and Functiora of Laminated Automobile Suspension Springs.", Cards of invitation to admit visitors may be obtained on application to the secretary of the Institution of Automobile Engineers at 28, Victoria Street, London, S.W.1. Mr. Remington will also read his paper at Glasgow on March 20th and Coventry on March 21st,
