Brentford Urban District Council has a scheme for the widening of High Street to 50 ft.—a scheme which will
cost ultimately £70,O.00-. 3..
The Middlesex County Council thinks this scheme has cease too late, inasmuch as the new. Great West. Road is being constructed as a relief road. Hence the County Council's Highways Committee cannot 'recommend financial aid until the completion of the Great West Road enablesit to observe the effect it will have in relieving the congestion in Brentford High Street.
