, In a paragraph which appeared in our issue for February 7th entitled "Rival Sweeping Machines," we referred to the fact that the Sydney (N.S.W.) Municipal, Council had resolved to purchase two American sweeping machines, although they had received a communication irons Karrier Motors, Ltd., pointing out that the Karrier combined sprinkler, road sweeper and refuse collector would .do the work more satisfactorily and economically. We are told by Karrier Motors, Ltd., however' that the matter is still in abeyance, and that it has not yet been decided which machine will be purchased.
