Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations division has introduced a new high-capacity panel van, based on its linebuilt 3.2m wheelbase chassis. The vehicle complements the company's Quadtec range, launched four years ago.

The new model has a high roof, twin rear loading doors and walk-through cab. It offers a payload of 1.4 tonnes; 500kg more than the standard OneTen hardtop model, with a load volume of 5.65m. The new model's GVW is 3,400kg, and axle loading limits are 2,200kg (rear) and 1,320kg (front).

There are two engine op lions — Land Rover's petrol vee-eight (100kW/134hp) and a 2.5-litre diesel turbo (62.4kW/ 84hp).

SVO director Roland Maturi, sees the new Land Rover HiRoof as a direct competitor for panel van models from Ford, Leyland Daf and Renault.

The possibility of the model being line-built at Solihull in the near future "is very high", he adds.

The One-Two-Seven HiRoof is currently available to order through Land Rover dealers.

Prices for the van have yet to be announced.
