Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

QBeing put over a dynamic weighbridge last month, I inadvertantly lightly touched the brakes and I was surprised that the Traffic Examiner said nothing as he could obviously hear the air.

Would my actions have affected the readings? AR, Tourcester.

AAlmost certainly. The Code of Practice issued by the Department of Transport (GV230 April 81) Chapter 7, Paragraph E, specifically states that the enforcement officer should instruct the driver not to use his brakes. The officer should have re-weighed you.
