• Kingston upon Hull Transport has responded to the "Rhubarb and Custard" services of two Hull independents by using its Citylink subsidiary to bring in a conductoroperated service.
Last month Good News Travels and Metro Coaches launched a route from the city to Bransholrne, in competition with KHCT. Now Citylink is running a 12-minute service on the same route, and using conductors during off-peak. Two other routes have been deregistered to free resources for the new offensive.
