• Bus drivers in Edinburgh are outraged at a decision by Lothian region transportation committee to allow taxis to use the city's bus lanes for a 12-month trial which may result in lower taxi fares. A deputation from Lothian Regional Transport complained that bus drivers already had enough problems with the lanes being misused.
