• From 1 June, bus and coach passengers will no longer be able to play a radio or cassette player so loudly that it prevents other passengers from enjoying their journey.
Other new rules from the DTp include banning inspectors from smoking, this already applies to conductors and drivers during a journey. Drivers of regular bus services will be allowed to make brief announcements about the next stop.
