• Britain's 2,700km of motorway are served by over 40 service areas, but what kind of service do they give? In next week's CM we publish our guide to motorway service areas, listing their facilities for drivers, agency arrangements, parking fees — in fact everything an operator needs to know. We also look at future MSAs and in particular those planned for the M25.
• We have already written about MAN's new cab — you can find the story in this week's CM on page 30. Next week we go beyond our first impressions and explain in detail the latest forward-control range from the German manufacturer.
• Minibuses are certainly in the news with deregulation. We have been finding out how one of the more popular models — the Freight Rover Sherpa 300 — is to drive.
• Also we have a full road test report on a 28-tonne GCW, Bedford TL tractive unit with GM's own special Techliner aerodynamic styling pack. It certainly looks good, and it is light into the bargain, but does it perform well? Find out in next week's magazine.
