Complete closure of the load is provided, but .insulation was not deemed necessary because of the short distances involved. To overcome the problem of arranging for the last goods on to be the first off, there are sliding doors secured by budget locks along each side of the body, in addition to the rear doors, which have large protected windows. Guarded windows are also fitted in the front bulkhead.

Built by King and Taylor, Ltd., The Wharf, Godalming, Surrey, the cab has an extra glass panel set low down in the front quarter of each door to improve kerb visibility. Two convex flashing indicators are mounted to the rear of the doors, whilst two external rear-view mirrors are also fitted.

The interior of the body provides a load space 16 ft. 4 in. long, 6 ft. 9 in. wide and 6 ft. 6 in. high, and the complete vehicle has an unladen weight of slightly over 3 tons 9 cwt.
