THE Esso Petroleum Co., Ltd., plan to double their business between now and 1965. Sir Leonard Sinclair, chairman, has told employees that schemes have not been modified following the closure of the Suez Canal. "You do not prosper by being too obsessed by immediate difficulties," he states.
The company's sales in,1956 reached a record of nearly 2.000m. gallons.
