The non-fusion of the Commercial Motor Users Association and the Road Haulage .Association continues to excite comments of regret in Lancashire. Mr. W. E. Macve, speaking as an individual and not in his capacity as chairman of the C.M.U.A„ in Manchester, deplored the failure of the two bodies to arrive at unity, for this had been long desired in the north-west.
