Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

small trucks seem to be gaining favour with thieves, a typical example being an lveco Ford 49-10 tilt, reg F840 KCD, belonging to Crawley-based pre-export case maker Cruiseways. Director David Jones arrived at his secure yard early on the morning of Wednesday 15 June to find the truck missing and the hasp on the gate cut off.

Jones is amazed that the F-reg unit, with 531,000km (330,000 miles) on the clock, was targeted.

His neighbour saw a similar truck parked in Steers Lane off the Balcombe Road at 07:00hrs that day. The location suggests the truck was being taken south along B-roads towards Burgess Hill or Haywards Heath.

The white cabbed truck is signwritten Cruiseways in black. It is fitted with a blue tilt cover and a radio telephone. The chassis number is ZCFC4960002010070 and the engine number is 00998833. Contact David Jones on (0293) 514576.
