Group has lost faith in aluminium alloy for the construction of tough, efficient vehicle bodies, could I correct a small slip in your issue of 2-8 June?
The bodies we put on the A &J Bull Foden chassis were aluminium, not steel.
Wilcox has supplied over 80 aluminium alloy bodies to A & J Bull for contracts to move commercial and industrial waste, and during 10 years has achieved high payloads with little trouble.
In fact, we are so confident in aluminium for bulk loads of this kind — metal, rock, gravel, etc — that we have just launched another new type — The Ejectaload — at the Waste Management Exhibition
