Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ANTI-SKID Controls of Coventry, the manufacturer of Maxaret anti-lock systems, is aiming to make fitment of these systems easier for vehicles which are already type approved.

The company, which bought the Maxaret business from Dunlop last year, has prepared a pro forma inspection list for completion and signing off by the system installers, usually either the vehicle manufacturer of distributors. The completed list can be attached to the DTp's VTG10, notifiable alteration form, and sent to the Goods Vehicle Centre at Swansea. AntiSkid Controls says it will be accepted as evidence that the Maxaret has been fitted correctly. Provided the vehicle's load sensing valve is left in place no separate type approval is required for an anti-lock system fitted to the drive axle.
