Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN YOUR account of David Wilcox's interview with my Director-General, John Cameron (2nd June edition), he reports that John would like to see "transportants", who have come into the industry midway through their careers as economists, accountants or engineers, for example, become CIT members without having to sit for all the Institute's examinations.

Managers in road transport may like to know that the Institute already operates a Viva Voce examination for professionally qualified persons in these categories, and I will be pleased to provide details should they write to me at 80 Portland Place.
