A supplement to the Farnborough Engineering catalogue (no. 27) has been published. It provides the appropriate part numbers for Tranco valves, guides and springs for various specific engine models. The supplement covers four sections: new models, amendments, additions and dimension details.
Available from: Farnborough Engineering Co Ltd, Farnborough, Orpington, Kent BR6 7AT. A kingpin lock that may be padlocked around the recess on a kingpin and so prevent semi-trailer theft is now available from Intertruck.
The lock, made of 11 x steel, is in two semi-circular pieces, one piece is placed each side of the kingpin recess and they are then slotted together. A padlock is used to lock the halves around the kingpin.
