ASTANDARD cargo pallet-lift designed to fit in with almost any type of airfreight pallet system is now offered to freighthandling concerns by Power Lifts Ltd. With a lifting capacity of 13,224 lb., it has a dual scissor mechanism to ensure maximum rigidity against shock loads and offcentre loads. The platform top is made of mild steel chequer plate fitted with removeable handrails along two sides, and trip-bar safety guards are incorporated on all sides of the platform. Operation of the lift is by 'C'-type motorized pump-mounted remote control from the lift-platform and connected by highpressure hose and electric cable. Control is from a push-button pedestal unit complete with indicator light and lock-off emergency stop. Maximum platform height is 7 ft. 9 in., with the minimum height 15 in., and the platform is 12 ft. long, and 8 ft. wide. Made by: Power Lifts Ltd., Colnebrook Works, Lower High Street, Watford, Herts.
