THE 10 class winners at this year's LDOY final on September 10 will be subjected to a more severe run-off than ever before. The four-section test will be completed in four different vehicles from the Ford Motor Co., with one vehicle at each section.

In Section I, the loading bay, contestants will drive a boxvan with an overall length not exceeding 19 ft.; the second vehicle, to be used in width judging, will come in the range 19 to 25 ft.; and the third will be a rigid over 25 ft. for the snooker test. The final test— kerb parking—will be completed in an artic.

In addition to the normal events and following the success at Dunfermline and Essex there will be a competition for managers or owners.
