Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Weweler has developed an air suspension attachment that protects the bellows during hucke pack and ferry handling. The Splitter was first shown in prototype form at the Amsterdam RAI exhibition last February and is now available on new Weweler ferry trailer suspensions or as a retrofit package.

The device comprises a spring steel arm linked to the blade pivot at the front and with the suspension unit's upper plate attached at the rear.

When the trailer is raised and an axle hangs free the entire suspension unit disengages from the chassis, allowing the air bag to retain its form. The same spring arm ensures that the upper plate of the suspension unit returns to its locating adapter on the flange of the chassis.

Weweler's Splitter retrofit package needs just 30mm of clearance beneath the chassis rail for the locating adapter and uses the existing shock absorbers and suspension unit.
