Industries has been using international road haulage permits with intent to deceive and operating vehicles without an operators licence has been adjourned until February by Bury magistrates.
The company denied that at Ramsbottorn between 22 and 23 April it used an international permit with intent to deceive and used a vehicle without an operators licence. It also denied committing similar offences at Doncaster on 16 May. The magistrates accepted that the offences were not serious enough to warrant an appearance in the County Court.
In June 1986 the company had its international licence revoked by the then North Western Licensing Authority Roy Hutchings followed convictions for using forged permits, drivers hours offences and excise licence offences (CM 14 June, 1986).
