• Renault Truck Industries has just delivered the final consignment of 11 556 midibuses to the Newport Transport Company. They are finished in Newport Nipper's cream and green livery and will cover some 400km per day.
NTC says: "The new buses have been very well received by the travelling public. We get constant requests to extend our routes and within three months we have had to add further journeys to the service we had originally planned. We chose the Renault S56 as it combines the friendliness and compact qualities of a midi-bus with plenty of passenger space."
