• In a bid to boosts its sales in the lucrative municipal and recovery vehicle market, Mercedes-Benz (UK) is now offering an optional factoryfitted six-man crew cab on its 4.6-7.5-tonne GVW T2 chassis-cab models.

The two-door crew-cab comes with a fully-trimmed interior and a folding co-driver's seat to allow access to the rear seating area which can accommodate four extra passengers on two benches.

The crew cab adds 920inm to the length of the standard T2 cab, and increases the chassis kerbweight by 185kg. A six-man crew cab adds £1,446 plus VAT to the cost of a T2 chassis.
