A TENDER of AEC Ltd., for six Swift rear' underfloor engined single-deck bus chassis has been accepted by Morecambe and Heysham Corporation transport committee. These will be the first single-deck buses to join the fleet for many years and are the first Swifts to be ordered from the north of England.
More Leylands for Rawtenstall: Rawtenstall Corporation transport committee has accepted the tender of Leyland Motors Ltd. for the supply of three Titan PD3.4 double-deck bus chassis at a total cost of £8,304.
