MORE EXPANSION SOON —DRIVER FINED To provide a framework for further expansion, Transport Development Group Ltd. has established three wholly owned sub-holding companies. The shares of most of the group subsidiaries currently trading in the UK will be transferred to these companies.

The three sub-holding companies are: Southern Area Transport Group Ltd., Marqueen House, 215-223 High Street, Beckenham, Kent, with Mr. C. J. Palmer as managing director; Northern Area Transport Group Ltd., Castle Chambers, Castle Street, Liverpool 2, with Mr C H Palim Its managing director; and Scottish Area Transport Group Ltd., 3 Royal Terrace, Glasgow C3, with Mr. F. I. Alexander as managing director.

Each sub-holding company will, like the existing sub-holding companies in Western Europe and Australia, be completely autonomous in all its functions, except that in the fields of finance and policy it will be subject to the control of the parent board. It will not trade, but will provide to its operating subsidiaries all the services which hitherto have been provided by the parent company. The subsidiaries will continue to trade exactly as at present.
