ANEW architectural lighting system has been introduced by Lumenated Ceilings, Ltd., 4 Lloyd's Avenue, London, E.C.3. It consists of a ceiling of corrugated translucent vinyl sheet supported in a', framework of lightweight steel, suspended below fluores
_ cent or tungsten lamps. The plastic sheeting diffuses the light to form a completely luminous ceiling. There is said to be no glare, high spots or shadows.
The intensity of lighting can range from 20 to 200 lumens per sq. ft. Lumenated ceilings arc claimed to be the nearest approach to natural daylight of any lighting system yet devised. The cost is competitive.
