ALTON-BASED AFS Transport and Logistics has been granted the go-ahead to base three vehicles and three trailers at the J&SC Brough operating centre in Victoria Road, Adwick-le-Street, in Doncaster, subject to the following conditions: • maintenance systems, maintenance documentation, vehicle inspections and tachograph records will be audited by an independent third party every six months; • audit reports will be prepared and acted on; • a copy of the report will be forwarded to the Traffic Area Office within 14 days of its receipt, together with the operator's proposals for implementing its recommendations; • the operator will provide the traffic commissioner (TC) with 28 days of original bank statements and other financial details in the name of AFS Transport and Logistics, to show the licence holder has access to the required financial facilities and funds of £16,100. These details are to be provided by April and cover the month of March 2013; • the transport manager will visit the operating centre on a monthly basis.
