Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ABNORMAL LOADS ROUTING • From March 1 major resurfacing and alignment work will be carried out on the A45 at the double bends, west of Fiore. During the 10-week operation there will be traffic lights controlling a 200m length of single lane working and a 3m width limit.

Northamptonshire police warn that this road connects Junction 16 of the M1 with the A5 and is a major route for abnormal load traffic. For the duration of the repairs, traffic intending to use the A43 route to Oxford should leave the MI at Junction 18 and take the A5 to Towcester. Abnormal loads of 3.8m wide and over for the A5/A43 will be escorted from Junction 18.

Further information can be obtained from R Eales, who is abnormal loads officer with the Northamptonshire police on (0604) 63111.
