• Former general manager Michael Diacono has been promoted to deputy managing director of Sally Line, which operates the Ramsgate-Dunkirk ferry route.
Diacono joined Sally in 1985 from Bristol Oil and Minerals, for which he set up a mineral grinding plant in China. Prior to that he worked for companies in the international freight industry and also for the Road Haulage Association.
