. New Pourer for Shell Oils.

An effective pouring device which Shelt-Mex, Ltd., are now distributing enables "a user to pour oil from the top of a five-gallon drum, making the process -a clean and easy one—preventing waste

and permitting the last drop of oil to be emptied from the drum. The pouring device is attached in. a simple manner. The neck of the pourer is slightly elastic, and when pressed lightly over the faucet of adrum, the neck spreads until the groove in the neck catches the overhanging edge of the faucet. No tool is necessary to attach it to a drum, as it just slips on with the aid of a little pressure, and is quite leakproof. The shoulder of the pourer has an angular platform, coming to a point rather than a rounded tip, thus permitting a thin stream of oil to be directed into a narrow-mouthed receptacle. If a thick stream of oil is required the drum is simply tilted at a sharper angle. The general shape of the pourer is so designed as to take care of a curved or vigorous. flow.

The Shell-711ex pourer may be purchased from any dealer handling Shell ails, at a cost of 9d.
