Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WELSH HAULIER Frenni Transport is trialling biodiesel following the opening of a local processing plant in Pembrokeshire.

Frenni, with depots at Swansea and Crymych and 25 LGVs, is the first customer for the Celtic Biodiesel plant in Pembroke Dock. Celtic Biodiesel is collecting used vegetable oil from restaurants and chip shops and processing it into fuel for diesel vehicles.

During Frenni's trial period up to 10% of biodiesel is being added to conventional diesel; this does not require any vehicle modifications, according to joint principal Mathew Parry. If the trial is successful the company will gradually increase the percentage. "We've been looking at environmentally friendly fuels for some time and are already using liquid petroleum gas on some of our lorries." says Parry "The problem with biofuels has been that the production and delivery facilities have been too far away to make the use of the fuel economic."
